Welcome back Amar’e! Glad to see you watched no tape on how to play defense while you were out.
I felt even more miserable than they look while watching this game.
With this loss the Knicks will now be playing the Heat or the Bulls in the first round instead of having a chance at playing the Pacers. Here’s some notes on the game:
- When Mike Bibby was your best player, and it’s not 2004-2006, you’re going to lose.
- Amar’e is (still) a complete liability on defense
- This is why an offense based on jacking up 3’s isn’t always a good idea
- Why look for Melo, he’s only been averaging 30 points a game for a month, instead….
- whoever gets the ball first just jack up a shot. No one needs to try to get the rebound either, that would use up energy that can be spent on contested 20-30 foot shots.
- I thought the Cavs were the team that was supposed to be tanking.
Stat is starting, Fields is not, Walking is waived, Gadzuric is signed. Never a dull moment for the Knicks. Hopefully we’ll continue our quest for the 6th seed. Orlando is a mess right now, but their magic number is only 2 and they have a game against the Bobcats, so every game is really important now.
Any fan of the New Jersey Nets should be embarrassed to show his face public. Things are only going to get worse next year in Brooklyn when Deron leaves. His bags have been packed since the All Star Game. Oh, so the Knicks will play them tonight and hopefully crush them. Let’s see if the Knicks, after shooting 60% from 3 point land, shoot 3 for 35 tonight. Those hoping to see Amare tonight sorry, you will have to wait until Friday to see him miss open jumpers. And, Baron please try not to embarrass yourself tonight.
Which Just Ridiculous Smith will we see tonight? Can Shumpert stop Rondo? Will Baron decompose by halftime? Pierce vs Melo is always fun. Lets hope the Knicks get one step closer to clinching that playoff spot.
We’re playing the team everyone loves to hate. We got stomped last time we played, will we get our revenge today? Will Just Ridiculous Smith shoot well? Who will win the LeBron Carmelo matchup? Will Chris Bosh cry at some point in the game?
We’ll be leaving our comments here throughout the game, feel free to post your thoughts as well.
The Wizards stink so this should be an easy one right? RIGHT?
Yay, the game is on at a normal time tonight! In case you haven’t realized, tonight’s game is kind of a big deal. Will be be in 9th by the end of the night or will we all sleep just a little bit better tonight knowing our chances of making the playoffs have significantly increased?
Who’s going to have a big game? Who’s going to make me pull my (remaining) hair out? Post your comments below!
