Melo wasnt the one whp stopped Hibbert in the final regular season game it was Copeland. In that game, Cope played the 5 and made Hibbert come out the post since he can hit jumpshots which opened up a lane and either let someone like Felton drive to the rim or let Cope/Melo try to drive by Hibbert to lure him into foul trouble.

Unfortunately Carmelo has not been scoring very much. When he is not scoring he is a detriment to the team because it is as if they are playing with 4 instead of 5, he doesn’t set up plays, he dribbles and dribbles and looks for his shot only. He should be sitting on the bench when he is not scoring.

So it looks like the Knicks will have to be up by at least 30 for Copeland to play. With K-Mart and Camby looking so good I guess he’s not necessary.

It sux that before the news of A’mare going down for 6 weeks I believe he was playing his self to be traded. What I mean by that is he was starting to play good which mean some team in the offseason would have taken a look at him. His contract is getting better in terms of trade bait.
