First of all congratulations with the baby
Second of all I’d like to say I’ve been really enjoying the podcast, been following since podcast #1 and was wondering if you are going to start a fantasy basketball/football league for your listeners?
Can anyone help…….I am living in Ireland and planning a trip to New York end of July with my 13 year old son who loves the Knicks. Does anyone know if they will be playing end of July?
thanks in advance, Anna
Sorry Anna, the season ends in April and the playoffs are over in June.
Good luck with the show tonight. I hope you got plenty of fillers outside of game coveage cos it doesnt look like there will be too many highlights for the knicks tonight. Melo out and DWade in makes it look ugly.
With Melo out, you can only assume that TDouglas will be jacking up more shots with more than 15 secs on the shot clock, and i recall you will be drinking each time this happens. Hope you have eaten well toay to soak up the grog.
Given he’s been playing injured for so long, he now just looks weak to sit out the game tonight. An ego the size of The Garden.
Womens final of the australia open tennis tonight down here. I am looking forward to sharapovas grunting as been more entertaining than our offence tonight. And i am scared to think about the defence.
Have a great show.

Arizona Aaron here, aka @PRoG_13, aka goKNICKSgo13, aka Arizona’s biggest Knicks fan.. im so ready for this contest…
The stress that lady Macbeth feels especially about killing Duncan, are acute and mean she is indeed a victim of events. Shakespere shows us how troubled she is in scenes like the sleepwalking episode in act 5.
Shakespere shows us macbeth in scenes like the Banquo scene in act 3 when the ghost of Banquo appears to haunt him or in the anguish Macbeth is fragile in the fate of blood, he has she’d and his distress is added because he knows he has murdered two good and gracious men. He is traumatized by this.
Shakespeare’s vision in Macbeth IS one of death and darkness, a
Though with Malcolm’s return some goodness is brought back to Scotland. Death and darkness have been felt by all. Even by the old man who speaks at the end of act 2 or the drunken porter who keeps the gate of hell. The playwright shows us that
themes of betrayal and selfless love, redemption and retribution all echo throughout time, because ultimately, humanity cannot escape it’s own flawed nature and is thus a true tragedy.
In the beginning of the play Macbeth, Macbeth is a successful and noble Thane of Glamis. The witches tell Macbeth prophecies that guide him to his downfall, but in the end it was his own selfish decisions that caused his demise. The other person that is blamed for Macbeth’s destruction was his wife Lady Macbeth because she was able to manipulate and control his self-esteem by playing with his courage and bravery. However, Macbeth was only guided by his wife; he chose to play out his own outcome. Overall, Macbeth’s own ambitions, greed and self control were the main problems that caused his downfall. In the play these factors have some influence on Macbeth; however he is still responsible for his own destiny. The influences of the witches prophecies, and Lady Macbeths desires play a small part towards Macbeth’s demise; it is Macbeth’s selfish ambitions that are the main reasons which lead to his downfall and destruction.
In the play Macbeth, the three witches prophesized
to Macbeth future events that lead him to make destructive decisions causing his downfall. The three witches reveal to Macbeth that they foresee him becoming Thane of Cawdor and then becoming King of Scotland. The second witch says to Macbeth “All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee Thane of Cawdor” (1, III, 49). The third witch then says “All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king here after!” (1, III, 50). Macbeth has a hard time believing that he will receive these titles that the witches foresee. However once Macbeth becomes Thane of Cawdor he starts wondering about other predictions that the witches revealed to him and Banquo. The witches’ prophecy leads Macbeth to decide his own outcome
that causes his downfall. The witches disclose to Macbeth prophecies that come true which leads him to think about killing the king, but Macbeth decides for himself whether or not he will kill him. Macbeth then says to himself “Two truths are told, as happy prologues to the swelling act of the…
What’s your opinion on Australia’s and what do you think of aussie players in the nba, do u think Knicks should pursue Patrick mills
how can i get some of the guys to come to our restaurant, so we can make it a official nyc knicks home, where they can run the store the community an kids would love this.
Melo #17? Shouldn’t he be ranked higher?!
Are there spots open for the fantasy bball league? If so i’d like to get in.
Unfortunately Carmelo has not been scoring very much. When he is not scoring he is a detriment to the team because it is as if they are playing with 4 instead of 5, he doesn’t set up plays, he dribbles and dribbles and looks for his shot only. He should be sitting on the bench when he is not scoring.
Why do you guys even bother? I’ve tuned into this podcast many times, intrigued and hoping to hear some basketball talk, only to turn it off after about five minutes of listening to you guys incessantly whine. You’re not funny. Try actually talking some basketball and you may save yourselves from obscurity.
Seems totally reasonable to judge an hour show on the first five minutes….
(Marc) Hey, you are right we should not bother. Feel free to stop listening. Though, if you are interested, we invite you to call into our show and tell us why you think it sucks.
