|The Knicks went 2-3 since last ranking and are 7-5 this season. Very inconsistent so far, but have a good record and haven’t played to their pottential yet.
||Last Weeks Rank
||The Knicks needed Randle to deliver against Philly and boy did he. When he’s hot he’s one of the best.
||Barrett came back down to earth a bit this week but he’s established himself as the clear number two on this team.
||Right now Rose is the only dependable guy off the bench. He’s been outplaying Kemba, but the Knicks need to keep Rose with the 2nd unit, they need his presence more than the starters.
||Fournier does his thing every night. He hasn’t gone off but as a 3rd or 4th option he doesn’t really have to.
||We saw what a difference maker Robinson can be when he’s on the court. Staying on the court is a problem though. He’s already back from his latest injury so that’s a good sign.
||Kemba shows flashes of the Kemba of old, but he’s also getting torched on the defensive end. Hopefully that improves as the season moves along.
||I’ve seen people wanting to see more of an Obi/Randle frantcourt. With Noel out again they might get their wish.
|| Immanuel, Quickley
||Had a few flashes of breaking out of his very shaky start. Hopefully he continues to improve as the season progresses.
|| Gibson, Taj
||I thought we’d be seeing a lot more of Taj this week but Robinson recovered quickly. Still nice to have a guy of Taj’s talent as a 3rd option.
||Burks has been a disappointment so far. He isn’t hitting the shots he did last season. I’m sure he’ll snap out of it. Hopefully very soon, that 2nd unit needs it.
|| Noel, Nerlens
||It was so good seeing Noel back on the court. Too bad it lasted less than a weekend.
||Sims needs a bit of development but has potential.
|| Grimes, Quentin
||11th man in a 10 man rotation.
||Right now McBride is the backup to the backups backup.
