I don’t care if this is not Knicks related. The Wire was the Michael Jordan of television shows. Hands down the best. Apparently, Snoop did not have too much trouble learning her character for the show.

The breakdown for tonight’s game from a Memphis perspective.

A good breakdown of tonight’s Grizzlies vs. Knicks match-up from the perspective of a Grizzly fan. This comes from Memphis fan blog 3 Shades of Blue.
Memphis is playing really well lately. With big men Gasol and Zach Randolph they are going to be a tough match-up for the Knicks tonight. The Knicks do not match up with this team well and will need to be moving the ball and getting their bench involved if they want to win. It would be nice if Turiaf is healthy enough to play tonight because they will need him. I believe the key to the game tonight will be for the Knicks to score more points than the Grizzlies (I love when the announcers say things like this). The actual key I think will be the play of Toney Douglas. If he can play well and help keep Conley under control I think we have a good shot. I also guarantee win or lose Gasol and Randolph will each go double figures in rebounds.
Do you think Lebron wants to re-think the Decision?
The Knicks follow Charlie Sheen’s Motto
If not for those 2 horrible losses to the Cavs this team plus Carmelo has been awesome. Tonight they crushed the Jazz. By midway into the third quarter Charlie Sheen had a better chance of being named father of the year than the Jazz had of winning.
- The only negative tonight was that Al Jefferson looked like a hall of famer tonight. He was unstoppable and obviously the Knicks need to figure out how to defend a big man like this. He did a great impression of JJ Hickson vs. Knicks.
- Jared Jeffries scored zero but he was a hero (I am a poet). He may have only had 6 rebounds but he did all the little things on D and looked great. I especially liked how he hustled and saved a couple of balls going out of bounds by throwing the ball off the jazz players.
- Watching Carmelo and Amare pass to each other and work the pick and roll made my nipples hard. If they can play unselfish and continue to look for one another they are going to be tough to contain. I also love the fact that Carmelo can take the ball up court on occasion taking some pressure off the pg and giving a different look to the offense.
- Toney Douglas’s message tonight was hey Chauncey, take your time recovering.
- Shelden Williams has 13 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds…nope, not a misprint.
- Newly acquired Derek Brown played 12 minutes and had 3 great thrown downs, I wonder if this guy will get another shot to play any time soon.
- Andy Rautins actually looked decent in his five minutes, including hitting a nice jumper.
- Roger Mason has now played 50 minutes in the last two games. I would have predicted the overthrow of Egypt before I would have predicted this.
For those of you who missed Chris Bosh’s post-game interview from last night, here it is
You can really tell these Heat players care about winning.
Carmelo’s first two weeks
"There are a couple guys crying in the locker room right now,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "It’s not a question of want."
I do not think I could make a joke funnier than the actual story here.
The NBA Schedules a Losing Streak for Lebron & Co.

Well at least the Heat play well against the teams they ARE NOT going to face in the playoffs. It has to be tough to be Lebron and realize that you actually had a better chance to win a title with last year’s Cavs. And, their new addition Bibby played 11 minutes and scored zero points. I guess he will be the difference maker for this club. It is going to be real tough for the Heatles to do anything in the playoffs with a bench that makes the Knicks bench look like the dream team.
Spurs Crush Heatles, Life is good

The Knicks may have hit rock bottom last night but at least the Lebron & Co. are looking like a worse and worse experiment every day. It seems like Lebron at this point would have had a better shot at a title if he just resigned with Cleveland.
Cavs beat Knicks and I do my best to hold back the little girl tears

What an awful awful awful game. I went to this game and can attest that it looked even worse in person.
- For some reason D’Antoni played Jeffries and Anthony “I would not start in the D-league” Carter instead of Douglas and Fields.
- The isolation happy offense looked slow, boring and waiting to lose
- I am fine with calling the flying knee a foul against Carmelo
- If I only judged JJ Hickson by how he plays against the Knicks I would say he is a lock for the hall of fame.
