It looks like Donnie Walsh will be coming back, though no contract is signed, but Walsh is proceeding like he is coming back. It is amazing that Dolan hasn’t finalized that contract but Dolan is a disaster and has the opposite of the midas touch so why should this be any different. The question I have is whether Donnie Walsh deserves to come back. I get that he is a great basketball mind but no one seems to question the job he has done here. Every commentator seems to have drawn the same conclusion that Walsh has done an amazing job in clearing the Knicks of all their bad contracts and in getting Carmelo and Amare here, and he deserves another season. To question the idea that the Knicks were a complete disaster when he came over is like questioning the gospel. Continue reading

Knicks pick up the $14.2M option on Chauncey Billups, cementing plans for next year's first round playoff exit
I hate this team. You don’t have a center or a back-up PG or any depth whatsoever. So the best thing to do is lock up $14.2M and your remaining flexibility under the cap in a washed up PG who can’t play defense anymore and considers passing as a second option. Continue reading

Knicks excited to start summer vacation!!!
You know when you have worked non-stop and you just need a vacation badly. The Knicks sure do. This season has been a grind and, being that they are all relatively young millionaires, they have some exciting vacations planned. The Knicks sure looked like they couldn’t wait to go on vacation today…until Anthony Carter shamed them into playing. Based on how the Knicks played today, the only reason the Knicks lost this series 4-0 was because the NBA would not allow the Knicks to call it a series after losing the first 3 games. It is no longer about winning the series, it is now just about trying to avoid a shameful sweep
I know we are missing Billups and Amare but there is little excuse for getting swept. Much of this series has been without these two and the Celtics have not outclassed the rest of our squad. The Knicks have had a realistic shot in every game. They need to step up and get it done today.
