Another week of nothing but losses. Some of those losses were almost not losses so…yeah. And what’s with other teams stars being injured for weeks, only to come back against the Knicks and destroy them? It’s going to be real hard ranking these clowns this week. | |||
Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| Calderon, Jose | Yeah he didn’t play well against the Thunder but no one did. 7 3’s against Dallas and 10 boards against Miami give me more positive things to say about Jose than anyone else on this list. | 9 |
| Anthony, Carmelo | Melo missed 2 games with back spasms but looked pretty good against the Heat. I bet he’d look even better if opposing defenses had to pay attention to anyone else other than Melo and Amare. | 1 |
| Wear, Travis | Wear was the only Knicks with a positive +/- in all 3 games this week. By all means only play him 10-12 minutes a game. | 3 |
| Acy, Quincy | Quincy isn’t this high because I think he’s good. It’s just that everyone else below him is playing way below expectations while Quincy gets a few boards and does his best to not be terrible, and for the most part he’s succeeded. | 4 |
| Larkin, Shane | Shan is pretty much in the same boat as Quincy. He’s not doing anything particularly great but he’s not making me scream, drink, and throw things at the tv while watching him. | 8 |
| Stoudemire, Amar’e | How do I even rank Amare? He was 1 rebound away from 3 straight double doubles, but he had a ton of turnovers against Dallas. I mean 7 turnovers and 6 fouls? Get outta here. The team is outscored every time he’s on the court. But dunks look cool so everyone loves him. | 2 |
| Prigioni, Pablo | Pablo’s minutes seem to diminish every game, but as long as everyone keeps playing like crap he’ll stay in the top half of the rankings. | 5 |
| Dalembert, Samuel | Sam gets rebounds, but he doesn’t get stops. Like Amare, the team is always outscored when he’s on the court. | 6 |
| Shumpert, Iman | Shumpert played well on offense just long enough for everyone to get super excited. He’s been terrible since. Because Knicks. | 10 |
| Smith, Jason | Not a bad week from Jason, 10-15 minutes seems like the perfect amount of minutes if we’re still going with the whole Cole Aldrich is not allowed to play thing. | 12 |
| Hardaway Jr., Tim | We’ve been saying his offense is really good but his defense sucks. Well now his offfense sucks too. So now what? | 7 |
| Smith, J.R. | Remember when we were worried that we had so many shooting guards? They’ve all been terrible and it looks like Fisher is out of patience with JR. He played 6 minutes against Miami. I’m interested in seeing how this plays out. Will JR snap? Will anyone not be terrible? Stay tuned. | 11 |
| Aldrich, Cole | Cole has been dropping banana peels around Damemberts locker in his new strategy to get playing time. | 13 |
| Early, Cleanthony | I hope Early is watching video of the Spurs while he rehabs and not video of the Knicks. Please don’t learn these bad habits. | 14 |
| Bargnani, Andrea | At this point would Bargs help the Knicks tank or would he actually be better than Jason Smith? | 15 |
