2015/16 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 11

Interesting week, two nice wins against the Pistons and Hawks. Oh, and a 4th quarter against the Bulls that was the Knicks lowest scoring 4th quarter.  Ever.
Rank Player Comments Last weeks Rank
1 Anthony, Carmelo Melo is still #1 in the rankings but I am a little disturbed by the lack of free throws Melo got this week.  7 in 3 games is not ideal.  On the plus side, the Knicks seem to win when Melo has 5 or more assists, something he did in both wins this week. 1
2 Afflalo, Arron Arron had to get a top 2 spot for his ridiculous game against Atlanta.  38 points on 14-17 shooting.  Beautiful. 5
3 Porzingis, Kristaps Two months into the NBA season and Porzingis has 2 rookie of the month awards.  So much for all that talk about not being effective for a few years. 2
4 Lopez, Robin Robin Lopez continues his streak of good games with a 6 block game against Detroit and a 16 point game against Atlanta. 4
5 Williams, Derrick Even if he sucks the rest of the season, we’ll always have that 4th quarter in Detroit. 7
6 Thomas, Lance Thomas offense fell off a cliff this week, but he still plays defense.  He was the only one on the entire roster to have a positive +/- against Chicago. 3
7 Galloway, Langston Good thing Galloway plays defense, because he isn’t doing much of anything else lately. 6
8 Calderon, Jose Melo, the guy who is accused of being a ball hog, has way more assists than our aging PG. 8
9 Grant, Jerian Grant looked great against the Hawks, hopefully that’s a sign of things to come. 10
10 O’Quinn, Kyle O’Quinn shot 6-8 in 11 minutes against Detroit, and was rewarded by getting 3 minutes against the Hawks. 9
11 Seraphin, Kevin 2 DNP-CD and a pretty mediocre game in the one he did play.  Not good. 13
12 Amundson, Lou Lou gets injured a lot for a guy that never plays. 11
13 Early, Cleanthony Early’s 6 minutes were more impressive than Seraphins 5 minutes. 12
14 Vujacic, Sasha Two weeks ago he was 0-7 from the field and a +/- of -22 and this week Sasha was 0-1 and a +/- of -5.  Improvement? 14
