| Well that was unexpected. Just as I was googling “most losses in a row NBA” the Knicks get their first multiple game (2) winning streak of 2015. I give up trying to figure this team out. | |||

| 1 | Bargnani, Andrea | I never thought in a million years this would happen. The Knicks win a few games and Bargs has been their best player. What in the world is happening? | 3 |
| 2 | Amundson, Lou | Dunking, blocking, rebounding, Lou was Mr. Intangibles this week. | 6 |
| 3 | Hardaway Jr., Tim | A good shooting week from THJ! It’s been so long since we had a shooting guard that shot well. Please be a turning point and not a fluke. | 9 |
| 4 | Galloway, Langston | Galloway is not afraid to take a big shot. He has to be the Knicks feel good story of the year. | 1 |
| 5 | Shved, Alexey | Shved can attack the rim, rebound and pass. If he learned to shoot he’d be an absolute keeper. Continue reading | |

2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 18
| Melo shut it down. He wasn’t resting for the all star game. It was a huge cooincidence that he took off the game before and got surgery two days after. Pablo Prigioni was traded and Alexey Shved joins the team. I don’t think we should be asking ‘will the Knicks win another game this season’. We should be asking ‘will the Knicks cover the spread in any game for the rest of the season’. | |||

| 1 | Galloway, Langston | Langston ended his one game good shooting streak against the Cavs but got some rebounds and assists to kinda sorta make up for it. Good enough for the #1 spot. | 5 |
| 2 | Calderon, Jose | Seriously, no one on the team can string together two good games in a row. Jose looked good against Miami…on offense at least. Playing well on one end of the court for 1 game in a row is good enough for the #2 spot. | 2 |
| 3 | Bargnani, Andrea | Yup, the 3 best players this week were a d-leaguer, a guy who is 33 but plays like he’s 38, and Bargnani. That dunk alone would have gotten Bargs into the top 3. | 13 |
| 4 | Wear, Travis | As predicted, Wear benefits from Melo shutting it down and made the most of it. A pretty solid week from Wear. | 14 |
| 5 | Acy, Quincy | Is that what I think it is? Yes! A Quincy Acy sighting. There were a whole bunch of random, not very good players that were unchained from the bench after the departure of Amare and Melo. Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 17
| Only one game last week because of the all star break. The big news is it was Amares last game as a Knick. He went 0-3 with 5 points, 4 rebounds, 4 fouls, and 3 turnovers. A sad ending for a guy who started out as an MVP candidate just 5 years ago. | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Smith, Jason | Can’t ignore 25 and 7 on 10-16 shooting. Add in the zero assists and it was a very Melo-esque game. | 3 |
| 2 | Calderon, Jose | This may be the last week for Calderon in these rankings. Rumor has it the Knicks are trying to move him. | 1 |
| 3 | Prigioni, Pablo | The Knicks are reportedly also considering moving Pablo. It’ll be a sad day in NY if the Knicks move one of their very few likeable players. | 13 |
| 4 | Amundson, Lou | This team is so bad a guy who had zero points makes it into the top 5. | 4 |
| 5 | Galloway, Langston | OK, Galloway is going to have to stop shooting like crap or I’m jumping off the bandwagon. Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 16
| If you’re rooting for the Knicks to lose as many games as possible this was a good week as the Knicks went 0-4. They even had a close call at a win against the Nets. We also had the return of Bargs. What a week. | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Calderon, Jose | Jose is looking like an NBA player again. Good timing, the Knicks only have 2 weeks to make a deal. Raise that trade value! | 2 |
| 2 | Galloway, Langston | I’m not ready to say Galloway can’t shoot, but it’s looking a lot like he can’t shoot. But man can he rebound and his defense looks better than any other PG the Knicks have had in the past 5-10 years. Not that the bar was set very high. | 5 |
| 3 | Smith, Jason | Smith got a double double this week. I just realized it’s been a while since we’ve seen that from a Knick. I’m not going to do the research but I’m going to say with 80% confidence that the Knicks have the least amount of double doubles in the league this year. | 4 |
| 4 | Amundson, Lou | Lou’s hustle and energy make him a fun player to watch. Since we’re a terrible mess of a team we have to focus on the few bright spots and Lou is one of them. | 3 |
| 5 | Larkin, Shane | Only on this team can a guy have a not good week and move up 3 spots. Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 15
| The Knicks went 2-1 this week which is their 2nd winning week in a row. Great news if you like meaningless wins, not so great if you are rooting for a top 3 draft pick. One more week until the all-star game after which Melo will hopefully shut it down and the Knicks will get the tank back on track. | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Anthony, Carmelo | Melo shot 52% against the Lakers. It’s rare when Melo has a good shooting night but he was able to do that and hurt our draft position on the same day. What an awesome brand he’s building! | 1 |
| 2 | Calderon, Jose | Look who learned to get assists again! A slightly less washed up looking PG makes a huge difference on this team. | 6 |
| 3 | Amundson, Lou | I wonder what the teams record would have been last year if everyone tried as hard as Lou does every night. | 7 |
| 4 | Smith, Jason | Smith has looked like an actual NBA player lately. I don’t know what to make of that. | 9 |
| 5 | Galloway, Langston | The shooting is still bad and he doesn’t assist very much, but the defense and rebounding is still solid. Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 14
| With the Kings game being postponed due to snow the Knicks have their first above .500 week since…week 2. Those worried about the winning streak effecting their tank job should realize the Knicks can’t beat anyone without Melo and he’ll most likely be shutting it down after the all star game which is in 2 1/2 weeks. | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Anthony, Carmelo | If he wasn’t rebounding and getting a few assists he wouldn’t be this high because his shooting has been off. He’s been making up for it by getting to the line and grabbing boards. Not sure why he’s playing over 40 minutes a game, it seems kind of insane to me. | 1 |
| 2 | Thomas, Lance | Every week it seems some random player on the Knicks shoots into the top 3. Lance earned it this week with a great game against the Magic and a strong showing in his first start as a Knicks against the Hornets. | 8 |
| 3 | Galloway, Langston | Galloway has the confidence of a guy who has been in the league more than a month. I’m starting to think he has potential to be a solid backup PG next year. | 3 |
| 4 | Aldrich, Cole | Coles rebound rate is insant. Might be because no one else on the team can do it, but I’m still impressed. | 10 |
| 5 | Hardaway Jr., Tim | Oh. My. God. THJ shot over .500 last game! Huzzah! He even got some rebounds and assists. Yes it was against a bad team missing one of their best players but still! Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 13
| For the first time in 5 weeks the Knicks have won a game, going 1 and 1 this week. I hope they got the winning out of their system. We’re in tank more and this is a tough week for tanking with Philly, Orlando, and Charlotte coming up. | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Anthony, Carmelo | I’m torn, do I give Melo the #1 spot because he played great or penalize him for getting us a win when we’re trying to tank? | 11 |
| 2 | Calderon, Jose | Literally no one else on this roster put together two really good games so *pulls name out of a hat* congrats Jose, you had your monthly good game against Milwaukee and it earned you the #2 spot this week. | 9 |
| 3 | Galloway, Langston | Going with the trend of having 1 good game, Galloway went off against the Pelicans. Hardaway should be very nervous, Galloway will be taking Hardaway and Priggys minutes going forward. | 3 |
| 4 | Amundson, Lou | Lou has a terrible shot but he knows that so he mostly just gets rebounds and blocks, which are things our other big men don’t really do. | 13 |
| 5 | Smith, Jason | The fact that Jason Smith has the 5th best week on this team goes a long way in explaining the 6-36 record. Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 12
| These rankings are being posted on the 1 month anniversary of the Knicks winning a game. They have now lost 25 of the last 26 games. Just to put this season in perspective; Philly, a team that is trying to lose as much as possible has won 7 games in that same span of time. At least we can get excited about Langston Galloway. | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Larkin, Shane | Shane was the most consistant player on the Knicks this week and by that I mean the only consistant player. | 5 |
| 2 | Wear, Travis | If you are wondering how it’s possible that the Knicks are this bad just take a look at this top 5. That should help put things in perspective. | 7 |
| 3 | Galloway, Langston | Not a bad first week on the job. From the D-league to a top 3 player on the team. | N/A |
| 4 | Acy, Quincy | How come Acy can hit 3 point shots now but can’t seem to hit 10 foot ones? | 1 |
| 5 | Early, Cleanthony | Early is still very raw but has shown enough flashes of good play to get me excited for his development. Then I remembered the Knicks don’t develop players so I hope he has a long and great career for whatever team the Knicks trade him to in a year or two. Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 11
| Well that was a surprise. Last night the Knicks traded JR Smith and Iman Shumpert for Lance Thomas, Alex Kirk, and Lou Amundson and waived Sam Dalembert. Philly won so the Knicks are officially in 30th. Or 1st if you are rooting for the best chance at that #1 pick. The tank is in full effect! | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Acy, Quincy | Acy gets the #1 spot solely for last nights game. 87% shooting. 2 three pointers. 14 rebounds. Team high 19 points. What? | 9 |
| 2 | Aldrich, Cole | Cole was on a roll until the Memphis game. It was fun while it lasted. At least we don’t have to worry about Dalembert taking his minutes anymore. | 2 |
| 3 | Prigioni, Pablo | I could put any of our 3 PGs in the 3-5 spots, they are all of equal talent right now. And by equal talent I mean somewhere in the high 20’s or low 30’s as far as best PG’s in the league. | 4 |
| 4 | Calderon, Jose | Remember when Calderon wasn’t washed up? One of these days the Knicks will aquire a player BEFORE he’s past his prime. | 3 |
| 5 | Larkin, Shane | I was about to write how this team is composed of shooters who can’t shoot and PG’s who can’t pass and then Shane ruins it by getting 8 assists against Memphis. Continue reading | |
2014/15 Knicks Roster Power Rankings – Week 10
| I didn’t show up for week 9 of the power rankings but that’s OK because neither did the Knicks. This weeks power rankings will include the last 6 losses…er…games…same thing at this point I guess. | |||
| Rank | Player | Comments | Last weeks Rank |
| 1 | Anthony, Carmelo | His knee is really really hurting so in the 4 complete games he plays he played for 40, 38, 43, and 46 minutes. He then couldn’t even come out after halftime last game. I know Melo is against the idea of tanking and wants to be out there, but the team is 5-28, the knee is getting worse and there are 4 years left on this ridiculous contract. Get the knee fixed and come back 100% next season. | 1 |
| 2 | Aldrich, Cole | Great week from Cole. One game he shoots 8-9 and the next night he has 19 boards. He’s not intimidating protecting the rim, but I still think he does a better job than Sam (I should retire soon) Dalembert. | 10 |
| 3 | Calderon, Jose | Ball movement and passing are a huge plus, the +/- is a huge negative. He’s an OK starting PG, but I’m worried about having him as the #1 PG option for the next 2 years. | 2 |
| 4 | Prigioni, Pablo | His shooting has been off and it looked like he had an eff you game jacking up threes last game, but he still assists and a higher clip than anyone else on this team. | 3 |
| 5 | Larkin, Shane | Good thing Shane plays defense, because he’s not very good on offense. Continue reading | |
